INDOMINUS REX, STOMP & STRIKE REX, MOSASAURUS AND MORE!

Hey folks! Told you the news would keep on arriving! Today, we're happy to present you the first (official) look at the Indominus Rex, through Hasbro publicity photos released for the US Toy Fair (which starts today). And if that wasn't enough, you can also feast your eyes on the Stomp & Strike (previously known as Mega-Strike) Rex, as well as the first aquatic reptile released in a Jurassic Park line: the Mosasaurus! These pictures also reveal Hasbro's new way of dealing with dino-damage cover. As you can see on the vehicle vs. dino sets, the wound cover can now slide to reveal the dino's insides, a great way not to lose the skin piece (and that happened to ALL of us before). You can also see better pictures of previously-seen figures, like the Allosaurus (with an updated and much better looking head), the Dilophosaurus (with a functional frill, finally!), or the Ceratosaurus, sporting its JP3 colors. Enjoy!

So yeah, while we can be disappointed about the lack of licensed character human figures, this new line shows a lot of potential. We'll see if that quality will remain on what we see in the stores, starting in May, and also, we don't know what else is to be discovered, like that rumor about 5 new Dino Showdown packs being released. In any case, the future is (finally) getting bright for us, JP collectors! Stay tuned

FIRST BOXED PICTURES OF THE JURASSIC WORLD LINE!

Hey folks! Now that Jurassic World is getting closer and closer, we sure aren't going to be in any shortage of news! Here's the latest: the first pictures of boxed samples from the JW line have been made public, and here they are for you to feast your eyes upon (including a newcomer previously hidden in our last news: the Stegoceratops)!

As you can see, this line appears to be a hit and miss so far. Items like the (long-awaited) Ankylosaurus or Stegoceratops (neat wink to Chaos Effect there, Hasbro!) look very good, while others look even worse than what we've seen in the JP3 line (I'm looking at you, Zombie Spino). Also, unconfirmed news we've received revealing that no human figures, apart from generic 2,5 inch tall no-name troopers, will be released, or the fact that the Giant (or Titan) class Raptors (see Delta and Echo above? That's them) won't sport the trademark Raptor claw on their feet, make the fanbase a bit uneasy about the direction this line is taking, but remember that we haven't seen all of this line, and after all, maybe the NY Toy Fair (starting this week-end) will have some surprises for us! In any case, we at JPToys will continue to give you the latest news in Jurassic Park/world toy collecting!
