- Where can I purchase Jurassic Park toys?

Your best bet for the older Jurassic Park toys (JP, TLW, CE, JPD) is going to be eBay or the usual flea markets, yard sales and discount stores. Some of the newer lines like JP3, CamoXtreme and JP Junior can still be found at your local toy stores (Wal-Mart, Toys R Us) or at online sites like ToyBliss or Entertainment Earth. Most can usually be had at discount prices.

- Does this site sell any Jurassic Park toys?

JPToys is proud to announce the sale of Jurassic Park toys through our affiliate store Figure Realm. Retaining one of the largest selections of Jurassic Park toys for sale online, FigureRealm is committed to keeping their inventory fresh and current. If you are in the market for JP toys, be sure to browse FigureRealm's inventory to find what you need. Their easy-to-use online ordering system and super-fast shipping make them a JPToys favorite!

If you can't find what you need there, we also offer a Classifieds board on our Forum where JPToys.com members frequently buy, sell & trade their Jurassic Park toys and merchandise.

- Why have I been banned from the forum?

Rest assured, you have NOT been banned. We only officially ban those that violate our 3-strike rule. In other words, you should know if you've been officially banned. However, in the last year or so some members (mostly AOL) have received a false message stating they've been banned from the forum when that in fact is NOT the case. Our forum is run through the folks over at Proboards and we have yet to hear back from them on what exactly is causing this error. In the meantime, most members have found ways around it. Some of those ways include trying another internet browser such as Internet Explorer. Others have simply waited the problem out.

- When will the new toy databases/sections be online?

Here's a question we seem to get asked quite often. The lengthy time between section releases is for several reasons, some of which I will discuss here. The first being that both myself and the Senior Administrator have families and jobs that are the number one priorities in our lives. This site was created as a fun hobby diversion for us and while we do take our responsibilities of the site and you the fan seriously, this will always remain our release valve so to speak. Secondly, these sections are no easy task to complete. We're are determined to give you the highest quality pictures available and that takes an enormous amount of time. We have never given a time line for when all of the sections will be completed and probably never will due to the reasons mentioned above. However, you can rest assured that we will continue to work very hard behind the scenes as time permits to complete our ultimate goal of giving you the JP toy fans the most complete JP toy resource on the web. We thank you for your enthusiasm as well as your patience in this process.

- How much is my Jurassic Park toy collection worth?

Finally, an easy question to answer! JPToys.com launched the web's first ever complete JP Toys price guide back in August of 2002. Once there you'll find up to date MIP, loose, retail and all time high prices. We've even included a rarity scale!

- Is there going to be a new toy line when Jurassic Park 4 comes out?

We certainly hope so! However, there's never any way to be 100% certain until we start receiving official announcements from the various toy companies. The only thing we are 100% certain about is that JPToys.com will be there providing you the best Jurassic Park toys coverage available on the web!

- Will we ever see a Jurassic Park Commemorative line?

Many in the past have started online petitions in hopes of getting some (or all) of the original JP toys released. As usual, these attempts have fallen on deaf ears. The truth is, Hasbro's main focus is (and probably always will be) the Star Wars line. Sure, JP toys sell pretty well (even Hasbro was openly quite surprised by the merchandise earnings from JP3) but those JP numbers really pale in comparison to the sales of Star Wars merchandise annually. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see a commemorative line one day but the facts are (at least for now) it isn't going to happen.

- Can you host my dioramas?

We are currently in the process of upgrading our diorama section on the site. Once that work is complete, we will once again start hosting your dioramas. In the meantime, you may want to try signing up with a free hosting service such as Yahoo Geocities. There are plenty of other free hosting services out there, however, Geocities is where JPToys (JPTC) originally started up and it served us well for over a year.
