Review

By Raptoralpha: This genetically altered monster was supposed to be the big star of the Chaos Effect line, being showed on other toys' boxes and being mentioned in the other dinos' bios. Sadly, it was ultimately scrapped for unknown reasons. A theory is that it wasn't released because of its long horns, a bit like the Triceratops from the second series of the TLW toy line. Its size is 14 inches (35.5 cm) long, and 7 inches (17.7 cm) high; about the same size as the Allosaurus from the TLW toy line.

Points of interest

- Genetic mix between a T-Rex, a Triceratops, a Velociraptor, an Ankylosaurus, and a Stegosaurus or a Kentrosaurus.
- At least seven samples of this toy still exist in the world, as far as we know. However, it has been said that dozens of them "escaped" Kenner's factories...
- It showed up twice in two different collections. Once on Ebay, and once in a private collection. Little is known about the example on Ebay, but the once from the private collection is likely to be a fraud. If one looks on top of the closet in the picture, a JPS2 Scrap Davis hatchling is also visible, but closer inspection suggests that both figures' arms or legs don't match the real deal.
- There is a comparison of it with the unreleased CE Triceratops, from the 1998 Toyfair.
- A picture of a boxed sample exists, but it may have only been showed at the 1998 Toyfair.
